I am currently on H4 visa and just 10 days ago my H1B got approved (new H1B filed during 2017). My employer is in the process to finalize my position with a client.
My question is, as my new H1B has not started, is there a specific number of days that I can remain unemployed while searching for jobs?
If in case, I switch to a different employer do I need pay slips (which in my case I wont have) and is that recommended?
Your questions are unclear: are you seeking alternative employment to the approved H-1B?
If COS to H-1B is approved, you must work for the employer as of NOW.
