I need help on my case
1. I am on H1B visa and my I 94 is valid up to Sep. 2016. I am working in California for Client A. My Employer filled H1B amendment in Sep. 2015 to work for same client A from New York.
I am still working in California. My H1B amendment is in Case Received status for 225 days now. I have I 94 ( Issues in California Port of Entry) valid till Sep. 2016.
Doubt : Can I Start working in New York based on filled H1b Amendment and valid I 94 . My employer will file Extension in Month of Aug. 2016.
Why won't the attorney who filed the amendment take this question?

You should indeed be asking the employer's lawyer this question. What the employer is not concerned?

You need an approved amendment for an amended petition. You do not need an approved extension to continue H1B employment. Your employer may want to consider PP.
