I got H1B approved through Employer A and got visa. But I could not join employer A and never used my H1B even after 8 months of visa stamping as Employer A did not have project. Meanwhile Employer B also sponsored me job and transferred my H1B, so now I also got H1B through Employer B while I am still out of US. My question is, both of my H1B petitions are valid now or first one is cancelled after my H1B was transferred? Can I still join employer A on the basis of first petition? Note that employer A has not withdrawn the petition.
You can enter to work for either or both employers provided they offer you employment under the terms of the respective visa petitions.
You can use the unexpired H-1B visa that is in your passport for Employer A, even if you intend to work for Employer B. However, you must tell the immigration official when you enter that you will be working for Employer B and show them the approved petition.
