Grandma rights vs father rights
1 attorney answer
You are not looking for guardianship. You are looking for legal decision making and parenting time rights for your own child. In Arizona it is presumed that it is in the child's best interests to be with a biological parent as opposed to a grandparent. You will need to file a Petition in the family court to establish your paternity and your other parental rights. Of course, having an attorney will increase the chances of getting what you want in the litigation.
