i went for my H1B visa stamping for a employer with internal project. They have issued 221G visa denial and cancelled my expired B1 visa with a stamp (cancelled without prejudice) ,i have not got any mail from them. i have few doubts regarding this
1. What does it cancelled without prejudice mean ?
2. Are they doubting my purpose of last visit ?
3. i have not got any email asking for any documents , is there any way to know the reason for visa cancellation.
You need to take your denial notice to an immigration attorney immediately t see if you have any grounds for appeals through a comprehensive evaluation of your case.

Generally 221G means insufficient documentation. They must have denied your B1 since any future visit of your would be inconsistent with the B1, at present time. They should notify you what is missing. Incidentally, there are no appeals, however you could request an advisory opinion if you believe there was an error of law.
