Try calling your local county bar association and asking them if there is an attorney or organization that can help you. In Erie County, there is Northwest Legal Services. The Erie County Bar Association also has a lawyer referral network where you can meet with an attorney for a very low initial consultation.
You can also go to your local domestic relations office and file for support.
The response does not form an attorney-client relationship. It should not be relied upon as legal advice. The response given is based upon the limited facts provided by the person asking the question. Attorney is licensed to practice law only in the State of Pennsylvania. Responses are based solely on Pennsylvania law unless stated otherwise.
Depending what city/county you reside in, your county bar association likely has a pro bono service where they will assist individuals with legal matters if they qualify. Contact yoru local bar association or MidPenn Legal Services and they will qualify you to see if you meet the requirements. If you do, the attorney will provide his/her services either pro bono (for free) or at a much reduced rate.
Best of luck!
