I had invitation from auto parts exhibition in las vegas. I had hotel booking but I also mentioned my brother who lives in las vegas. Was this the issue to refuse my visa because I mentioned both hotel booking and my brother in the same city , on form DS 160 ???.
Secondly tell me that I have my own company for auto parts business, I have my family here in pakistan with parents and wife with three daughters aged 10, 6 and 2 years old. I can not leave them and hide away in USA!!! Then why I was refused???
I actually have been to usa on b1/b2 visa in 2001 but I had to extend my stay and applied extension which was approved further for 6 months and applied H3 training visa for my cpa training and which was approved when I came back in 2003 to look after my parents and getting married.
The B1/B2 visa application process can be incredibly frustrating. These type of visas are often denied with very little insight as to why. Generally, you will need to present proof that you are coming back to the United States within a set period of time and that you have an established life in your country of citizenship. If you have already been denied twice is about a one month period, it may behoove you to wait awhile to try to apply again. US embassies/consulates in Pakistan also deal with a high volume of fraud. Some applicants are denied simply because the officer believes or does not believe what the applicant is saying.
An immigration attorney may be able to give you additional insight as to why you were possibly denied but the consular officers an be difficult to deal figure out with these particular visas.
Yes - its tough. They think you want to return to the US and stay. You have to convince them otherwise.
