I sued a doctor for malpractice in California. Jury found her/the clinic negligent, but "no harm" caused. The judge overturned the verdict and granted a new trial. The opposing defendant's attorney and insurance company sued me for $180,000 for court fees (which were dismissed when granted a new trial). The judgement is under appeal now. If I "lose" again, will I have to pay the court fees if I sell my home in California and buy a home in Florida and live there (which I plan to do if I am protected there).
Thanks in advance!
