Whether you can find someone to take this case on a flat fee will depend on what needs to be done. While some might be willing to take a short, no-kids, wage-earner, no real estate and no pensions case on a flat fee, it's much less likely that an attorney will take the case on a flat fee if there are complicated issues.
Use the Avvo "Find a Lawyer" feature to develop a call list and start making inquiries of potential counsel that may meet your needs.
My responses to questions on Avvo are never intended as legal advice and must not be relied upon as legal advice. I give legal advice only in the course of an attorney-client relationship. Exchange of information through Avvo's Questions forum does not establish an attorney-client relationship with me. That relationship is established only by individual consultation and execution of a written agreement for legal services.

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.
