I was arrested a few weeks ago for possession of controlled substance without prescription, 1 Xanax bar. First time offense, clean record before this incident. Also seeing a therapist. What do you think the outcome will be?
Any help, thanks.
You should call a lawyer to discuss your situation, you may have defenses. It seems likely under these facts that you will be offered a path to avoid conviction that may include drug education or other such classes. A lawyer in your area will know what is required and the value they can provide to your defense.
This answer is not legal advice, it may not even be relevant to the question answered, it definitely is does not establish an attorney/client relationship.
Yes. If you are a professional, why jeopardize your career and not defend yourself. Hire an attorney, at a minimum to obtain peace of mind. Best of luck
