Recently had a fence installed around my yard. Fence company recommended a bottom tension wire to keep the dogs from pushing under it. Well there was 2 sections that they didn't secure the wire and didn't pull the fence tight. (Bottom of the fence easily pushed out 8+ inches). My dog got out and into a fight with another dog. Is the fence company liable for vet bills since they did not secure the fence properly?
You would have to prove:
1. The standards for a proper fence installation;
2. The company's failure to meet those standards;
3. That said failure was the reason your dog got loose; and
4. Damages from that failure.
