I am US Resident and I was charged by a 222-2 offense ordinance back in 09/29/97 .I paid the full amount then. Every time I enter the the US , I am hold up by the Immigration officer asking me lots of questions ,eventhough I always bring with me the court paper when I travel, they always give me a hard time.
Being that I am a US resident if I do the expunge of the municipal ordinance offense ,would I still be subject to questions every time I enter the country or it will be sealed my record .
Thanks very much for the info.
Expungment will not help you with USCIS or any other Federal Government agency. You need to retain an immigration attorney and seek US Citizenship.

I agree with my colleague. You may be able to do FOIA litigation to get it removed from your records, or get a pardon from the governor, or simply naturalize.

Expungement or sealing the record will not help. Criminal records remain accessible to USCIS and other government agencies even after expungement or sealing. You may want to consider applying for naturalization.
