I filed for ex-parte custody of my children yesterday. I received a call from the clerks office today stating that my Order was ready to be picked up. Due to my schedule, I was unable to make it to the clerks office today to pick up my Order. The clerks office was unable to tell me whether or not my request was granted but did tell me that I had to serve the other party the Order. If my request for ex-parte custody was denied, would I still need to serve the other party? In short, I would like to know based on what the clerks office said, what the chances are that my request for ex-parte custody was granted seeing as how I was unable to make it to the clerks office today and not knowing is going to drive me insane.
