Pertains to employment in NY state
1. If I dont put the reason for leaving on the employment application, can I be terminated for cause for not putting it later. Please note, I am not putting the reason for leaving as opposed to lying about it.
2. I know legally you have to list all your jobs but do you HAVE to legally disclose your reason for leaving in the employment app.
You can simply choose not to answer, but I doubt most businesses will hire you based on an application like that.

Mr. White is correct. Your application will be incomplete on its face. Their policy may be to trash such applications.
You need to figure out how not to misrepresent your reason for leaving. Would you want your interviewer's first question to be "why did you leave X job" instead of how did you choose us?
It is impossible to predict how a company will react. If you leave it blank, the interviewer may ask, or maybe not. The old company may say why you left, or may refuse to state the reason you left.
