Ok so I want to be a employ for my brothers newest “scheme” I call it a scheme because it’s not yet a buisness but we are working on it and from
My view there are a lot of issues going with that. I am talking my brother into starting another buisness. Now I thought everything would go smoothly but I come to find out my brother is very stubborn and essentially wants me to prove the product works, brand, sell before he forms a buisness worthy enough in his current llc.He already has a llc(Gentry llc) with 1 (ELEARNING) buisness But I want to start a construction company(greenconstruction)Now what worries me is he told me he wants to run it in his current llc with no current DBA or llc.So how will I get paid as a employ what will my check stub say on it will I just get paid threw the current LLC or the (green construction) I want to work full time on construction and I demanded to my brother things need to be structured properly so I don’t know what to think in all of this.
From your question it sounds like perhaps it’s not the best idea for you to go into business with your brother. Families and business are not typically a good combination. In any case, you may be wise to simply form your own business and organize it in the way that makes sense for you, perhaps as a single member LLC. Consult with an attorney in your area for advice specific to your circumstances. Good luck!
