No lawyer can predict whether your support will go down based upon the limited facts provided. We do not know if the court will deem your 18 year old to be self supporting. For all we know, he may earn less than the self support reserve. We do not know how much you were earning when the current order was put in place. We do not know if your current order deviates from the CSSA. We do not know how much you are currently earning? We do not know how much you are currently ordered to pay? We do not know if your current order has an outdated add-on for day care? We do not not know if 17% percent of your current adjusted gross income would be more or less than 25% of your adjusted gross income when your current child support order was established.
