I currently have EAD that expires in May 2018. My I20 expired December 31, 2017 (last year). I am in the process of filing for a marriage based green card. In our interview on December 13, 2017, we were told we would receive a request for evidence which we have not gotten to date. I am using my EAD to remain in school until May when I will graduate. Am I eligible to file for a renewal of my EAD because I do not think I will get my green card before my current one expires. If I am eligible, what do I put as my current immigration status considering both my F1 and I20 have expired.
You have not stated whether you have a basis for renewing your EAD.
You are entitled to an EAD if you filed an I-485 based on marriage.

If your adjustment (I-485) application is still pending, you should be able to get/renew EAD under the category (C9) for free. See the I-765 instructions for more details (https://www.uscis.gov/i-765).
