I was charge with drug paraphnila in a form of a grinder and a pipe. There was no marijuana in the car just that. I blew clean and sober on the blow test. Now they want to take my license away for six months even though this is my first offense and I'm a college student living on her own who can't afford to lose her license
This sounds like a Missouri "abuse and lose issue". I recommend you hire an attorney.
If you don't have a lot of money, start calling around and telling your story. Hopefully someone will take a chance on you and help you out because this would not be a very complicated case to handle. Most attorneys take payment plans as well. If you have to spend a few hundred dollars to keep from losing your license it would probably be money well spent.
Please be advised that answering questions on this webpage is done to provide general information only and that by responding to a question we have not established an attorney client relationship. In order to establish such a relationship we would need to meet in person and go over more details of your case. Thank you.
