About 10 years ago I was charge with a domestic violence that never happened. I was in probation for three months until the trial, the " victim " dropped the charges and said that she doesn't wish to continue with this case. I'm trying to be on a shooting club and I don't own a firearm. Can I legally own a firearm?
Good afternoon and thank you for using AVVO. The only way to be sure that you can own a firearm is to verify your Good Conduct record with the Puerto Rico Police Department. This can be done on the internet on the website of the Puerto Rico Government.(PR.ORG). If you receive a Good Conducta certificate then you have no criminal récord and can apply for a firearm. If you do not get a certificate then you must get the Court resolution and file it with the Police Department In order to clear your criminal record. Once your record is cleared you should be able to own a firearm as long as you qualify with all the legal requierments. You can find all the requierments on the web page mentioned above. Good luck.
If you need any legal Help In attaing the full carry permit, please consider using my services. Thank you...
