Does the state of California no longer require registered sex offenders to carry a Registration Receipt, which was usually mailed to them? I update my registration each year. This year as I registered, I filled out all the forms, except there was no State of California Registration Receipt, which I usually sign for them to mail it to me to show I still live here.
This year they said they are no longer require a card be mailed to a 290, for them to carry in their wallet. Have you any information about this.

Who are "they?" I would get documentation from "them," on their letterhead stating that you are no longer required to have a card mailed to you, and that you no longer have to carry a card.
Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.
