We recently obtained a judgement in our favor for the return of our security deposit from a person we rented a house from for 3 days (vacation). In the ruling, the judge stated that we were not entitled to the remainder of the security deposit doubled because the Rent Security Deposit Act only applied to residential rental properties. I was representing the case pro se and this point did not challenge. If the Rent Security Deposit Act does allow for the return doubled, can I file for an amendment to the judgement?
