i am applying for a master in USA , in this case i must obtain student visa. i already have b1/b2 visa and am worried that if my student visa got rejected will this also cancel my B1/B2 visa?
Have the university issue you an I-120. The only way your F-1 is going to be canceled or denied is by misuse. Discuss with the University's Foreign Student Exchange Advisor.

The two visas should not be related directly allthough it is possibly that there would be related grounds of inadmissibility (as linked to below). Though remeber that you cannot start school until you have changed your status to an F status.
