If you are arrested in Colorado for any reason you can be extradited if there is a known warrant from Kansas. In fact, you do not have to be arrested on any other basis than the Kansas warrant.
If Kansas wants to extradite you (and a felony is frequently something states want to extradite for), Colorado will be more than happy to hold you till they come get you.
