I am in FMLA I received a letter from my employer on Feb 6th that my FMLA expired on Feb 1st and that my job was no longer or protected under FMLA. I contacted try my employer that day only to be told that my general manager position had been filled. I had held that position for 26 tears
Yes. An employer that is governed by the FMLA must notify you of your rights and responsibilities. If your employer failed to notify you prior to February 1, 2018 that your leave would expire on this date, then it may have interfered with your FMLA rights.
