I'm trying to figure out whether my motion to discharge a GAL in family law goes to the commissioner or to one of the actual Judges. Time is of the essence, I need to write my calendar note. Thanks so much for your time!
It may depend on the county. Check your local rules. In Pierce County such a motion would go before the judge.
You might also contact the court, the court facilitator, the local rules, the court clerk.
Assuming this is being brought before trial, probably the Court Commissioner's Family Law Motions Calendar (9:00 a.m.).
