I have a Final Divorce Decree from a TX District Court and have drafted a Motion and Order for Judgment to Correct a Clerical Mistake (Nunc Pro Tunc) to correctly reflect a property address in the settlement. Does the Nunc Pro Tunc Order suffice to modify the Decree or must a REVISED Final Divorce Decree accompany the Motion and Order and be signed again?
Hire an attorney to assist you to make sure it is done correctly. If the property address is wrong, it may be wise to double-check the rest of the document for other potential clerical errors.
