Your misdemeanor is permanent until you expunge your record. To do so, it must be two years pass the end of your probation period and you have not had any further criminal violations. Go to the court where you were sentenced. Ask the court clerk for the expungement form, complete it and hand it back to the clerk for execution. If you are lucky, it could be acted upon while you wait, i.e., court is ongoing. Good luck.
