People often confuse aggrevated DUI and extreme DUI. Aggrevated DUI is a felony DUI. You get charged with it if its your 3rd in 7 years, you have kids in the car, your license was suspended, etc.
An extreme DUI has to do with your blood alcohol level. If you have a BAC above a .15, then they will charge you with a extreme DUI. It is a misdemeanor unless the conditiona above are present and make it a felony. With the misdemenaor extreme DUI there are mandatory minimum jail times that range from 2 to 120 days in jail.
It sounds self serving, but if charged with either, you should contact an office that does fee initial consultations.
