Live in a condo, can't cook on lanai so we cook in front of the garage. Grill is stored in garage. Now they say you have to disconnect the gas tank from the grill when not in use. What is the difference if the tank is shut off connected to grill or not. The burners are always shut off also when not in use.
IF they have rules follow them or face a fine. You bought/rented there and agreed to abide by the rules. I don't see the legal issue.

This is controlled by your Associations governing docs (which we obviously can't review here on line). If the Rules say you must disconnect? You must disconnect or you can be fined, simple as that.
Hope this helps.

Who is "They?" They say you can't do something? Where is the rule that says you can'r do something? Was it properly passed? Do they have the power to make the rule? Is it a Fire Marshall restriction? Cme on man! Look into these thing; you're old enough to have bought a home, surely you can ask a few questions....
I am only admitted to practice in Florida so my answers in other states are based on 35 years of experience in this field and are not legal advice. This reply does not create the attorney client relationship, which only occurs upon execution of a fee agreement with our firm. Please do not contact us for followup advice on these general observations.
