I was pulled over in sunnyside wa because the officer thought i had my bright lights on while following him. He pulled me over I provided all necessary paper work. He then wanted ID from my 2 passengers.
A passenger is not required to present identification without a reason. Usually that would be that the officer has probable cause to believe the person is committing, or has committed, a crime. The remedy would be suppression of evidence obtainted in violation of their rights.
