My truck has been in the shop for 3 months now. I've written a letter to the manufacturer giving them 30 days to fix my vehicle. The 30 days has expired. I've sent emails to the GM of the dealership with no response. I went to the Sheehy dealership and asked for them to buyback the truck. They advised that I need to go through Ford and that Sheehy cannot authorize the buyback. The truck does not qualify for the lemon law because of the mileage. I've been getting the run around....Who do I sue? And what do I sue for?
Provided the vehicle was purchased news and this is within the first 24 months/18,000 miles (whichever comes first.), you very well may have a lemon law claim. if that is the case, it would go against Ford, not the dealer. The law provides completely cost-free legal representation from firms such as ours. So, fif this is the case, take advantage of that. Good luck to you.
