I was diagnosed in1995 with Bi/Polor and generalized anxiety and siezure
dignosed with arthrites in my knukles
I find marijana calms me and helps with pain
I am assuming you are currently receiving Social Security benefits and want to know whether or not smoking marijuana will affect your ability to continue receiving those benefits? The answer, in my experience, is possibly-but not likely.
If marijuana helps you with your conditions, I would suggest discussing this course of treatment with all the doctors who are treating you for your conditions. All need to be on board. If even one says he/she does not want you smoking bc of the possible conflicts it might present with your current course of treatment (medications)-you need to discontinue use or you will likely present SSA with an easy reason to deny your continuing benefits when your claim is examined again. If all are ok, I would encourage you to obtain a medical marijuana card to further solidify your medical need for marijuana.
