I am in India currently for my H4 stamping. I have worked in us for 7+ years on h1b visa. I recently lost my job so I am moving to h4. My wife has valid h1b.
While working in US I filled a green card application and my i140 is approved.
My question is while filling DS160 at this question ->>
" Has anyone ever filed an immigrant petition on your behalf with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services? "
do i need to mention my i140 details? Or is that information irrelevant at this point?
We generally do not recommend persons with beyond the 6th year H1B move to H4.
