My son's father is the non-custodial parent, and also makes absolutely no effort to co-parent with me, or see/call his son, and there is also no court order about custody or visitation. I don't know if I need to give him notice that we will be leaving the state for a week. Also don't know what the exact laws/rules are for this situation in South Carolina.
If there is no court order, then there is no restriction on what you are allowed to do with your child.
