i have changed my SS and drivers license to my maiden name already. Not sure if it will be an issue with immigration to apply for citizenship with permanent green card still being in my married name. Or to be consistent with all the documents, i first need to change my permanent card to maiden name?
This is an immigration question. But if you have an order allowing you to change your name then it should not be a problem. My advice is that you consult an immigration attorney.
You don't need to change your green card for the purposes of the citizenship application. Make sure you have proof of the name change, though, through the divorce decree or other court order, and include that with your N-400 package.
