My wife and I live in Seattle, WA and we own a condo in Atlanta, GA. It has been vacant and we are getting ready to sell. We recently discovered this week severe water damage in the unit and we believe that it is deriving from the unit above us. We've had licensed plumbers and contractors inspect the unit and they have said the same thing. They have attempted to talk to the unit above us however they are not cooperating. We have to discover the source of the leak to protect our unit. What do we need to do to get the neighbor above us to cooperate? We plan to contact HOA however we are not banking on them helping us.
