i bought a new car and have taken this car back 5 times now for the brakes. they contiue to sqeak. they squeaked after the first 5k miles and they have replaced the pads but they continue to squeak. can this be a lemon law case?
Yes, a lemon law attorney can help you. Here is a link on lemon law in california. I hope this helps.
I have this identical case right now v. BMW. The thing in my case is, that the noise (which sucks) is not affecting the brakes' function, so, BMW is arguing against any compensation. Most experts we've spoken to say the same thing, the brakes are working. I think the case is decent, as the Lemon Law requires that the problem affect "use, value or safety." So, if safety is not the issue, maybe use or value is? Anyhow, have your repair orders looked at by a qualified lemon law attorney. Most will do this at no charge.
