The mother of our baby at the babies birth had meth in her system. I passed a oral drug test 5 days after her birth by c.p.s. now they want me to take a hair follicle test and go back up to 90 days.I refused it .im the father of the baby
No you absolutely do not have to cooperate with CPS at all. Make sure you discuss this refusal with your CPS/family Attorney so you know the consequences.

I agree, you are not required to submit to any drug test unless ordered by the Court. Of course, CPS can and do petition for custody of children if the suspect the parents are using drugs and if it is in the child's best interest. CPS has a reputation for sometimes over-stepping their authority so you need to contact an attorney regarding this matter.
