I leased a house in Sept. in a bad neighborhood. I was told by the landlord all the security equip. came with the house. Now guardian security says the were under contract w/ former tenant & they didn't fulfill the contract. They now want them back.
If you don’t own the cameras, and it appears that you do not, you have no basis to keep them from the actual owner simply because the landlord mistakenly told you that they come with the house. So yes, you have to let the owner of the cameras have them.
If it’s a major issue for you, talk to the landlord who gave you bad information. It wouldn’t be unreasonable to ask the landlord to provide comparable security cameras to replace the ones he mistakenly told you stayed with the house.
