I was told by the Family Court that ( since my child support payments were put on hold due to me going through these disability precidings ) I was not to cash any checks without the Court seeing the check . Am I obligated to take my retirement check to them and for them to make a determination on what I may/may not be able to do with the check ?
What does the order say? We cannot tell you what to do specifically without seeing the orders and other papers in the case. You may want to consult a local attorney for specific advice after a review of the papers. Or call the court and ask what they want.
A lawyer needs to know exactly what the order says; and what is intended by the order....no way of doing that here.
Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals.
