did a trade (10K & cash payoff (10K) to the dealer. I got the contract, keys and B of S. Now dealer says I owe $20K more due to price err. He is threatening to hold title and send a repo guy to take the car back.
What are my rights? Am I responsible for their mistake?
There are California statutes that apply to finance contracts done by auto dealerships. You should show your purchase contract and related documents to an attorney that handles auto dealer finance cases. Write down the time/date and substance of any phone calls that you get. Do not agree to anything until you've talked to an experienced consumer attorney.
