My lawyer refused to notify me of information in a sheltered petition. He refused to give a proper motion to get a video that will exonerate my innocence and show the judge that tempering with a witness and coaching kid. The judge upset that I knew the petition had been falsified and he wanted to know where I got the petition from and then he told me to get my own lawyer. Advised my lawyer to give me copy of all the documents. Judge took a 20 minute break and then he came back . Lawyer rejoined only for me to take the petition with DCF and I didn't want to but I had no choice. I want to take back my signature can I do it? I didn't want a case plan with DCF. The lawyer wasn't going to take the petition he was headed for trial. On 1-12-15 signing of petition.
You can fire any lawyer any time you want. However, you will need to pay to hire your own lawyer.
You may terminate the attorney, but you will need to pay for a private attorney to represent you. Alternatively you may represent yourself. Alternatively, you could sit down with the attorney and discuss your concerns and see what is really happening. Based on your writing this question, I strongly suspect you don't understand even the basic legal issues at play here. Good luck.

You cannot undo everything that has already been done merely by arguing here that you "did not want to do" whatever DCF was asking the court to do. Litigants who ask courts for court-appointed attorneys (paid for by the taxpayers) cannot pick and chose who the court appoints-- unless there is some very real reason or actual conflict of interest.
