Getting a divorce but no court order and kids live with me
If there are no court orders then you are entitled to take the children on vacation. No, you do not have to tell your husband where you and your children are going, but if the fact that you did not comes up in court, it might not look good to the Judge. Further, depending on how old the children are, they may tell him anyway. Do not tell them to lie about it. You do not say why this is such a secret . Are you visiting someone that would make your husband concerned? Trust me, eventually the truth will come out eventually.
If there are no court orders then you would not be violating an order but for information and courtesy reasons you may want to mention it to your soon to be ex without giving every detail.
