The NCP has not had contact with his son for two years. I text from time to time and get no response. He’s just not interested. He has paid 1% of his child support in the last two years only because it is being garnished. His family also doesn’t contact my child as well.
Do I have grounds to terminate?
"Do I have grounds to terminate parental rights?"
There are only two ways to terminate parental rights in Oklahoma.
1) the child is adopted or 2) the state can terminate rights for abuse or neglect in a deprived child case.
Unless you filed an adoption such as a step parent adoption there would be no grounds to terminate rights.
