Me and wife we to local dr and hospital 4 different times telling them The Whole time she is breast survivor, now chronic, lost voice, shoulder pain going blind in one eye , ct scan ultra sound x ray blood work, they a say all good we wanted pet scan hospital couldn’t justify, finally got referral from eye dr, cancer all over her body, took 6 months, wasn’t for eye dr she would have died. Somebody needs to be accountable. We don’t have insurance so they really just didn’t care about her life
I am sorry to hear of your wife's plight. It is unfortunate that so many people are uninsured. This is why many people favor "Medicare for all". Unfortunately, Texas does not even want to expand their Medicaid under Obamacare. People without coverage are people without treatment. Hopefully the state of Texas will realize that some day. The Republicans are wrong on this issue.
Your wife's situation will need to be reviewed by a competent medical expert. A personal injury attorney would need to retain an expert to review your wife's situation to see if any Dr. deviated from the accepted standard of medical care.
You should obtain needed medical care and treatment immediately and follow the doctor's advice. Do not give any statements to the adverse party or insurance company nor grant them access to any medical records. Photograph the injuries and the damage done to any property. Contact a personal injury attorney in your area as soon as possible so that you can protect your rights. You may also find it helpful to review the Legal Guides I have published on Avvo.com dealing with many of the issues you are now facing.
