I worked on H1B for 2 years. Then I got an F1 visa to go to grad school. Once I graduate, can I utilize my OPT period of 3 years, and then transfer my H1B? Or do I need to necessarily transfer my H1B after I graduate?
If you need training, use OPT. IF you will perform professional or expert services, H-1B is apt

You can use your OPT if you are training after graduation. The future of the H-1B visa sounds pretty shaky these days.
OPT is for additional training. Contact the employer's US immigration attorney about H and long-term filing strategy.
