2001 I divorced my Ex. He has never tried to see his daughter, but has seen his son 1x. For years I did not get Child support, in 05 he was arrested and forced to pay CS. He is now all caught up but over the last few yrs he has not been paying his 50% on dr bills (as per the divorce) and also in 2013 my son was hospitalized for suicidal thoughts, and I had to pay my ex's deductible, so my son could be hospitalized. Then in 2014 I again paid HIS deductible so my son could get therapy. No one would give me my ex's address or phone# so I had to talk to his work in '13 to let him know that his son was hospitalized. I went online to get his address to give to the drs now so that he is given the bills. But now my son needs physical therapy and I was told if I pay the leftover deductible then it would cost me less. I am so mad that I cant pay my own deductible, then an asked to pay HIS! When he has never paid his share of the dr bills from 2001-2015.
File a motion for contempt against your ex for his failure to follow the Court's orders to pay his share of the healthcare expenses. You can have the amount he owes reduced to judgment for you to collect on, and the judge can also impose whatever other sanctions it believes may be necessary to ensure that he pays his share of the healthcare expenses.
