I slipped and fell outside on YMCA property. I was walking my children into the daycare area, and when walking back to my car , the walk path you take to get in was wet ( from the rain the night before ) and i feel and busied my knee pretty bad and not have stitches and of work for the next 2 days. i have filed a accident report , but if we would have had access threw the gate like we always do , i wouldn't have fell. Do you believe I have a case or not
The two critical questions in response to your inquiry are: 1) What did the YMCA do wrong to cause your fall and 2) did you cause or contribute to your fall in any way? Without answers to these two questions, it is impossible to say if you have a viable claim. I would suggest you consult with a lawyer in your area who can provide you a more detailed review of the situation. good luck and prayers for a good recovery from your injuries.

I suggest you speak with a local attorney, but slip and fall cases are difficult. You would need to prove fault on the part of the property owner. I am not sure about the closing of an entrance, especially if water from rainfall was the cause of your fall. Nevertheless, an attorney may review your facts and determine you have a claim. Because of the difficulty of these cases, you may want to follow up on your accident report and see what they may offer first. I wish you the best.
