I was off the grid but now I have an address. Dmv is the only one who knows where I am. I owe court costs. If I don't contact the court will they find out and come to my residence and arrest me? I have no job and no income to pay.
Call the court and explain and pay of get on a payment plan. If over 30 days past due the dmv will take away your license.
As of July 1, 2018, there is is the availability of "paying" your court costs and fines by way of community service hours. Check with the county court where you must pay your fines about this opportunity,
Ignoring the problem never makes it go away. Contact the Court and inquire about either a payment plan or doing community service to work off the amounts due. I'm glad to hear you now have an address, as that has to make things much easier for you. Perhaps the next step in the right direction is to find employment. Best of luck to you.
