If a motion and affidavit for default was filed on 10/31, I believe the last day to file a response is Monday, 11/17. Default means that you haven't filed a response, and the court will grant whatever the other party requested in his or her petition. If you would like to have a say in the terms of your divorce decree, you should file a response on or before 11/17.
After the default is entered, it is usually 3-4 weeks before the default hearing and the final divorce decree is issued.
